a dirección artística es mi Pasión, hacer que los intérpretes brillen y los proyectos abracen la excelencia en cada creación es mi principal objetivo.
I am happy to put my experience at the service of creations. I lead because I am more useful to others than I am to myself.
Choreographic creation is the best way I have to feel alive and in contact with the citizenship in order to contribute through my works to improve our society with the arts of movement as a universal language. The crossbreeding of cultures is my main impulse in each creation, new latitudes for new horizons.
I am the creator and director of the Ciudad de Móstoles dance school where I develop my pedagogical project in the same place where I began my dance studies. Today I have created a teaching center for my city from which come out the new performers of our time. I give back to my city what one day my city gave me, to continue building a society in dance. Teaching happy people who dance.
I am a cultural manager of projects such as the Madrid Flamenco Festival for the Madrid City Council, where I am useful from the project management for the rest of the sector. I belong to the territorial council of SGAE as a member of the college of great right, I advise projects from the technical field as well as artistic. I have been director of the Madrid Flamenco Theater, the first theater in the world entirely dedicated to flamenco.
For more than 30 years I have been dedicated to the world of performing arts covering interpretation, choreography, lighting, teaching, as well as the creation, direction and management of both public and private projects. I am an active part of the wonderful profession of the living arts of movement. In these more than 30 years, I have contributed to the implementation of projects of many different kinds. From the different positions of responsibility where I am represented, I always try to provide solutions to the problems of the sector, in order to be useful to the profession as a whole. My transversal experience within the sector helps to build new bridges of collaboration to grow together in the same direction.
